CMS Public Meeting on CY 2016 Updates to the Part B CLFS
A public meeting for the general public to make recommendations on the assignment of payment levels for new codes to be included in the 2016 Medicare Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS), as well as reconsidered codes from 2015, will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at CMS Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.
This meeting includes CMS's proposals regarding:
- Consolidation of Codes and New "G" Codes for Drugs of Abuse Testing
- Obstetric Panel [800XA]
- Hepatitis C Antibody Screening [G0472]
- Molecular Pathology [16 Codes]
- Multianalyte Assays with Algorithmic Analyses [12 Codes]
- Reconsideration Requests [25 Codes]

You must register in order to attend the Public Meeting (see link below). If you, or someone from your laboratory, wishes to speak at CMS's public meeting, you must provide your comments in writing to Glen McGuirk at glen.mcguirk@cms.hhs.gov by July 2, 2015, and indicate your desire to present when you register for the meeting.
