ACLA Files Lawsuit Challenging PAMA Rate Setting Method
The American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA) filed a lawsuit today challenging CMS's implementation of the 2018 Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS) changes to take effect on January 1, 2018, as the result of PAMA's Clinical Laboratory Regulations (Section 216). Specifically, ACLA is challenging the "exemption of the vast majority of laboratories from the requirement to report private payor data to CMS."
