New Medicare Policy for CV Risk Assessment Panels

CGS Administrators (the MAC for Ohio) issued on September 1, 2015, a draft policy that eliminates coverage for cardiovascular (CV) risk assessment test panels. Click here for a copy of CGS's draft policy . In particular, note the headline that appears at the bottom of page 9 and the paragraphs that continue on page 10. Palmetto has already published a similar policy, and other MACs are considering adopting the policy as well.
